OUR STORY
Tichaidza (Rose) Nhopi Chiteve is the Founder and President of Sisters Awake For Action (SAFA).
Rose met the Lord in her early twenties and had a deep desire to know more about the Lord, and the Word. The desire to know more about the Lord continued to grow in her and led her to enroll in Bible school.
“I still remember that passion so well. I did not enroll in Bible school as a way to enter ministry but simply to learn more about the Lord". Rose shares.

Rose is a Registered Nurse who also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
After Bible school, Rose began to work with the youth and children in her church. She has always been passionate about changing people's lives and being the change that she wishes to see in the community and those around her. Rose has worked and ministered with women and children in various countries across Africa and in the USA for more than 20 years.
Rose is a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She has been married for almost 30 years and has raised two children. Her and her family are currently residing in the USA.

In 2019, the Lord started to show Rose that she would go back and minister in Africa helping communities in the rural areas and those in need of the Lord. It was also clear, that the mission was not only to take the Gospel to the world, but to develop, equip and empower communities to live fruitful lives and experience abundant life in Christ. Thus, Sisters Awake For Action (SAFA) was born.
Today, SAFA is made up of a team of sisters and brothers from different cultures and backgrounds united by the Lord to carry out this mission.
